People with mental health conditions may be able to claim up to £184 from the DWP each week when benefits get uprated in April
If you suffer from a mental health condition which impacts your ability to do daily tasks, you could be one of the many people eligible for Government payments but who are not claiming it. From April 1, the Department for Work and Pensions will be sending out up to £184.30 to individuals each week, to help with day-to-day life.
There are two parts to PIP. You do not have to have a physical disability to get the mobility part. You might also be eligible if you have difficulty getting around because of a cognitive or mental health condition, like anxiety.
