The Tom Ford dupe is just £4.99 and smells just like the iconic Black Orchid fragrance that costs £180 more When it comes to dupes of designer goodies, we reckon Aldi is the master. From air fryers and heated blankets to luxury chocolates and sought-after spirits, not a week goes by when the supermarket doesn’t launch another version of a high-end product.
But, while we adore the home items and sweet treats, it’s the beauty dupes we get really excited about. In the past Aldi has released everything from NARS makeup dupes to Olaplex hair replicas, and dropped some seriously impressive fragrances, too.On 30 November the store is launching its Lacura Hotel Collection Pure Noir scent, which is just like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid Eau de Parfum. At £4.
What other fragrance dupes has Aldi released? This isn’t Aldi’s first rodeo when it comes to launching perfume and cologne dupes. In September, the budget store released Lacura Intense Passion – a dupe for Love Don’t Be Shy by Killian. And in October, dropped the Lacura Cardinal Red perfume – which was almost identical to Baccarat Rouge 540.
In the summer, shoppers went wild for the Lacura Essence of Italy Giallo, Indigo and Nero Eau de Toilettes, which were said to be dupes of Acqua di Parma scents. When will the dupe be released? Usually, Aldi doesn’t give shoppers much warning when new products are landing, which means it’s hard to plan those middle aisle shops. However, this time we’ve got a bit of notice – the Pure Noir will be available from 30 November.
