Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed the calls unless it includes the release of all the nearly 240 hostages who were snatched by terrorists during the barbaric surprise attack by Hamas on October 7. 'It's been three days without electricity, without water and with very poor internet which has severely impacted our ability to provide essential care,' Mr Ghebreyesus wrote on x, formerly known as Twitter, as he said 'the situation is dire and perilous' and called for a ceasefire.

'Sadly, they haven't taken the fuel yet,' spokesperson Lt. Col. Richard Hecht said. He said if this fuel doesn't work, they will seek 'other solutions for the babies'. 'It’s very tragic and sad. We are talking as much as we can to the hospital. It’s also a risk for them to speak to us.' 'We know this is very risky,' said Dr Ahmed El Mokhallalati. 'We are expecting to lose more of them day by day.'
