Specialist contractors are on hand
Regular 'deep cleans' are being carried out on trams and buses across Greater Manchester amid fears a bed bug invasion could be looming. It comes after the blood-sucking critters were apparently spotted on the London Underground.

This week Transport for Greater Manchester confirmed regular deep cleans of the upholstery using 'specialist tools' are being carried out on all trams and buses, but said it has not been made aware of any issues.
In response, First replied: "This is really concerning to see, and we do apologise for this," before asking for further information to report the incident to the depot management team. First has been approached for comment.
