It could lead to flooding in parts of the region
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain for parts of the UK, including Greater Manchester.
Some of the major cities covered by the warning include London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Plymouth, Nottingham, and Greater Manchester. It means that in those affected areas, people should expect higher chances of flooding on roads and in homes and business as well as delays to public transport services. It added for Saturday through to Monday: "Plenty of autumnal sunshine through the weekend and into Monday. A few showers possible, mainly on the coasts on Saturday but feeling cooler, especially overnight with a frost forming."
