Police have released a CCTV image after a handbag was stolen from a woman in her 80s at a Booths store.
Lancashire Constabulary said the incident happened at the Teanlowe Centre store in Poulton-le-Fylde. The offence was committed some time between 2.15pm and 2.40pm on Wednesday, November 1. Last night officers shared a picture of two women they want to speak to as part of their theft investigation. Anyone who recognises the women is asked to call police.In a statement on Facebook, a Thornton Cleveleys and Poulton Police spokesperson said; "Do you recognise these two women? We would like to speak to them in connection with an offence of theft we are investigating.
"A woman in her 80s had her handbag stolen while in the Booths store at the Teanlowe Centre in Poulton-le-Fylde. It happened between 2.15pm and 2.40pm on Wednesday, 1st November. "If you recognise the women or have information as to who they might be, please call 101 – log 1041 of November 1, 2023 - or email 3160@lancashire.police.uk."
