Emergency services were called to Westmuir Street in the Parkhead area of the city at around 9pm on Friday, November 10, following reports of a road traffic incident.
Police have launched a hunt for a driver who knocked over a female pedestrian in the east end of the city before fleeing the scene .
Officers say that a car collided with multiple vehicles before striking a female pedestrian and fleeing the scene. The vehicle was later found abandoned at Dalmarnock Road. It is currently unclear the nature of the woman's injures with her being treated at the scene by medics.Read more: Glasgow school creates touching tribute to former pupils whose lives were lost during WW1 and WW2A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9pm on Friday, 10 November, 2023, police received a report of a car coming off the road at Westmuir Street, Glasgow, and crashing into a number of vehicles.
