Nursery where boy died shut down over concern kids ‘may be at risk of harm’
THE NURSERY where a baby boy died has been shut down over concerns that “children may be at risk of harm”.
by cops over the death of the one-year-old in Fairytales Day Nursery in Dudley, West Midlands on December 9.Credit: SWNSOfsted have since shut the premises down - after finding serious concerns in the way it was run.To reopen the nursery must now carry out reforms - including “ensuring sleeping babies are frequently checked to ensure that they are safe”.
The nursery must also “take all reasonable steps to ensure children in your care are not exposed to risks, paying particular attention to risks in the baby room”.
