Six women have been arrested following a one-year-old boy's death at a nursery. Police have confirmed that they are treating the toddler's death as 'suspicious', reports the Mirror.
The nursery has also been closed by the UK Government's Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills, along with other linked premises. As part of the investigation by the police, three women – aged 20, 23 and 50 – were arrested on December 16. Out of the trio of women, two were arrested on suspicion of corporate manslaughter. Meanwhile, the other was arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
