Corrigal is the guiding teacher for the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community, welcoming experienced meditators and beginners.

She and her husband Bob have attended Corrigal’s sittings ever since.

Corrigal toured the film in more than 350 schools across Saskatchewan and Manitoba with the Sask Arts Board. This was Corrigal’s second film. Her first, Near to Nature’s Heart: Women of Waskesiu, explored the lives of eight First Nations, Métis and Euro-Canadian women who made their homes in Prince Albert National Park.

This inclusivity is a core foundational part of the teachings, says Carol Johner, who has been attending the Wednesday night meditations for more than a decade.
