The Texas Rangers play the Arizona Diamondbacks in game 4 of the World Series but why will Nathaniel Lowe be hoping for ground balls at fist?
Nathan Eovaldi will start for the Texas Rangers in Game 5 of the World Series. Before the game, first baseman Nathaniel Lowe revealed a special reason he loves fielding when Eovaldi is on the mound.“From the beginning of spring training with PFPs and covering first ... it was a big point emphasis with the whole staff,” said Lowe, “Nathan Eovaldi actually gives me a little something every time I flip him the ball.
”“$100, A nice crisp blue strip, so those games where Evo gets three of four ground outs, that’s pretty good for me,” joked Lowe.“I feel like a lot of the times you know we come over there to cover the bag and he wants to take it himself. I’m like I’m already over there, like flip me the ball,” said Eovaldi. This story was originally publishedLawrence Dow is a digital sports reporter from Philadelphia.
