Have you hopped onto a video call for work and put on a nice blouse or button-down but kept your sweatpants on? It’s not just you, according to data from Walmart.
As working-from-home and teleconferencing become the new norm during the coronavirus pandemic, an executive from Walmart toldon Thursday that there’s still a demand for presentable work shirts – but that there's not much of a need for work clothing below the waist. “We’re seeing increased sales in tops, but not bottoms,” Dan Bartlett, Walmart’s executive vice president of corporate affairs, told Yahoo Finance about people who use Zoom and other types of video conferencing.
