Volunteers install two life-saving defibrillators in West Lothian town
A group of volunteers have installed two new defibrillators in Linlithgow thanks to the support of a recently launched community initiative in the town.
The volunteer-led organisation was provided with the funds to purchase the devices thanks to the Preston Glade Community Pledge, an initiative by Cala Homes that aims to support groups and organisations across Linlithgow by providing meaningful and measurable benefit to the area. “All of our members have been trained by the Scottish Ambulance Service to attended emergency calls, such as cardiac arrests, and through our volunteer’s work we have seen first-hand the difference that quick intervention can make in saving lives.
