Ulster rugby star John Cooney has announced his engagement to long-time partner Rachel McConaghie. The former Ireland No.10 and Dublin native shared images of the romantic proposal in Venice on his Instagram saying, "When you know, you know."
Friends of the couple were quick to pass on their congratulations. Cooney's former Ulster and Ireland teammate Tommy Bowe replied: "Congrats mate".
