Feargal says the Garden is 'always where he's wanted to be' but isn't letting the pressure that comes with performing in the arena get to him
Co Tyrone boxer Feargal McCrory has admitted it's "so tough" being separated from his wife and kids as he gears up for his Madison Square Garden debut. The 30-year-old who is 14-0 with seven KOs, will take on Russian-born Brooklyn resident Nikolai Buzolin in a scheduled six-round lightweight contest on Thursday, November 9.
"The operation in Philadelphia went well. I'm all healed up and rested, and done everything that's required to make sure I am right and ready to go, which I am. It's good to be injury free but I'm taking nothing for granted. "With my son, when I leave home in my work van, he's fine because he knows I'm coming back, but if I leave in the car, he's terrified. This is just a part of my story though and I have to do what I have to do succeed."
