Over 1,000 people attended the rally in Belfast city centre on March 9
Two speakers scheduled to appear at Belfast's International Women's Day rally "withdrew for their own protection," event organisers have confirmed.
Reclaim the Agenda said: "We will not allow our movement to be divided. We will not allow women to be silenced. We will also resist any attempts to restrict our right to protest." Among the speakers outside Belfast City Hall, welcomed by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Ryan Murphy, was Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Mairead Maguire who called for an immediate end to all global conflicts.
