Emergency services attended the scene near the Broxden roundabout in Perth when they were alerted at around 7.10am on Tuesday morning.
Two people have been rushed to hospital and a cow put down following a three vehicle road crash on the A9 that involved a trailer with cattle on board.
Police have confirmed that two male drivers from the Isuzu and the Audi were taken to the Ninewells Hospital in Dundee to be treated for their injuries. Constable David Gray of the Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of this crash. I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist our enquiry to contact us.“We are also keen to obtain any dashcam from motorists driving on the road around the time of the crash.”
