Impressive work from the Spurs boss.
Ange Postecoglou has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award for October Tottenham’s Ange Postecoglou has made history after picking up a third straight Premier League Manager of the Month award. The Spurs boss won the October award which is decided by a fan vote and a panel of experts. He beat Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Aston Villa’s Unai Emery to the prize.
Pep Guardiola is the only manager to have won it four times in a row, doing so with Manchester City in 2017, but it will be a big ask for Postecoglou to match this feat having lost the Chelsea game, with clashes against Wolves and Villa to come in November. Sadly for Postecoglou, he’s not been able to celebrate his latest award much with his team going through an injury crisis at the moment, with key players James Maddison and Micky van de Ven ruled out until the new year.
