Former Parkhead boss Gordon Strachan has had his say on the transition from Postecoglou to Rodgers.
Gordon Strachan insists the Celtic players have taken time to adjust to the style of Brendan Rodgers after the switch from Ange Postecoglou as the former Parkhead boss outlined the key differences in the approach of both bosses.
The 66-year-old claimed that everyone will be “happy” with Celtic’s domestic performances and is adamant the football Celtic are playing under Rodgers has started to improve after a period of acclimatisation following the departure of Postecoglou to English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
One man who has impressed Strachan is midfielder Matt O’Riley who has been the standout star this season with the former Scotland boss even likening the ex-MK Dons man to global superstars Luka Modric and Andres Iniesta. He said: "Matt O’Riley has been outstanding. He joined from MK Dons after coming through the ranks of Fulham and, when he first joined, he looked like a good player.
