A new list of the 'prettiest towns for Christmas shopping' in the UK has been revealed by The Times, and one Scottish destination is included in the newspaper's roundup.
With the middle of November already in sight, many Scots will be thinking about their Christmas shopping this year.
Coming in at number two on the roundup is St Andrews in Fife. Predominantly known for its golf and university, St Andrews is also an excellent place to do your shopping and soak in the atmosphere this festive season according to the newspaper.
Commenting on the town, Katie Bowman from The Times wrote: "Probably the most Christmassy on this list, St Andrews is as bonnie as a bauble over the festive period . Stick to North, Market and South streets for maximum charm factor and shopping opportunities."
