'I think they should be added to Haribo's sweet options all year round.'
Sprinting up to rival Christmas, Easter has become a big deal and many start planning in January - or at least the shops do. And while many may have already been stocking up on chocolate eggs , Haribo has been quietly etching out their own corner of the Easter market.
We tasted the treats to see how they shaped up to the standard Haribo sweets and if they could replace the chocolate egg this Easter - and one came out on top as a firm favourite and calls for them to be made a permanent product. Kate McMullin said: "The Balla Blooms were my stand out favourite in the Easter Haribo mix, despite them being a bit chewier than I like a Haribo to be. However, I am a big fan of the white centre and the red and green ones in particular. They are quite small though which encourages you to eat more, which could be seen as a good or a bad thing depending."
"They had a good fruit flavour and the soft centres really added a nice mix of texture. The outside of the Bella Blooms that the same texture as the rainbow straws, in case you are curious. While I don't think I am quite ready to put down the chocolate Easter egg just yet, the Bella Blooms certainly do provide a rival and I think they should be added to Haribo's sweet options all year round.
