Have an Easter Sundae on Easter Sunday Aldi shoppers are in for a treat, because a quirky product that sold out last Easter has been resurrected by the supermarket. The budget store’s chocolatey ‘Sundae Eggs’ are back for 2024. Once again, the products ditch the classic oval egg shape to resemble an ice cream sundae glass and we must say, they look absolutely delectable.
It also has white chocolate drizzle, biscuit crumb, a mini doughnut made of chocolate and a blonde chocolate wafer. The chocolate sundaes at Aldi originally launched last year with a completely different look. They now have a more refined appearance. Still, shoppers ran to their local Aldi stores last February when the eggs first went on sale. ‘Got them on Monday sold out very quick though as I checked again yesterday so I’m glad I bought them when I did,’ said Donna Mccormack on Facebook.
