A married pair are taking the public on an epic pub crawl around the city
The Great British Pub Crawl will be hitting Nottingham at the weekend - and anyone can join them. Dale Harvey and his wife Holly will be visiting 12 pubs in the city centre on the epic pub crawl.
The Nottingham couple, aka The Great British Pub Crawl, have made it their quest visit the UK's finest watering holes and report back to their 54,000 followers on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Naming this weekend's crawl after the 2013 Simon Pegg The World's End, where friends reunite to visit a dozen pubs, they will kick off at 3pm on Sunday May 26, at the Canalhouse in Canal Street.
It's the first time they have invited followers along. Dale said: "We just thought we'd float the idea and see if there was any interest as people are always saying they'd love to join us on one of the crawls. Twelve pubs, 12 pints, just like The World's End movie attempt."We're taking them on a tour of some of Nottingham's greatest pubs but obviously there are probably 50 others I could have easily included.
"If people want a fun tour of Nottingham and to see 12 of its best pubs in one afternoon come along and join us. There's no cost to join, only your own drinks in each pub, and it's bound to be a really fun day out."The route may have to change depending on how many people turn up. The duo launched the Great British Pub Crawl in March 2022, visiting Nottingham pubs, and it's grown from there. They have now drunk at more than 3,000 boozers across the country.
