A former Chinese Buffet on Speke Road was set a light
Teens were spotted breaking into the former Chinese Buffet restaurant on Speke Road and starting a fire this morning.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire inside the former Chinese Buffet on Speke Road this morning, Tuesday, April 30. It's believed the fire started from a quantity of paper, after a group of teens were spotted breaking into the building, Merseyside Police says. Smoke was seen coming from the derelict building. A Merseyside Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Three fire engines were in attendance at a fire on Speke Road, Liverpool. Crews gained entry into a building and found a quantity of paper that was out on arrival. Crews investigated the rest of the building and found no further requirements for firefighter activity.Police are appealing for information following the fire. A spokeswoman for the force said: "We received a report at around 11.
