An attempted murder investigation has been launched following the attack
A stranger tried to kill a woman in a "traumatic" glass attack as she stood waiting for a bus in Leeds.
The attack happened at 9pm on Sunday . The victim, a woman in her 30s, was standing near a bus stop in Otley Road when she was approached and attacked by a man carrying a broken glass bottle. She suffered cuts to her head and neck. A 32-year-old man was detained by security staff nearby and is currently in custody, police say.
