Herno sniffer dog Barra - Scotland's only underwater sniffer dog - has been inducted into Animal Heroes Hall of Fame.
A hero sniffer dog who has helped to bring closure to bereaved families in Glasgow has been inducted into an animal hall of fame.
Barra was originally born in Wales before being taken to his forever home in Dumbarton, where his potential as a Victim Recovery dog was discovered, Glasgow Live reports. With just under a year of training, he qualified as Scotland's first Submerged Victim Recovery Dog, and K9 Search & Recovery Scotland was created.
