Rwanda has confirmed that it will continue accepting illegal migrants from the UK, regardless of whether Britain remains a part of the European Court of Human Rights. A new deal on a reworked asylum scheme was signed between the Home Secretary and Rwandan Foreign Minister in December. The UK government is confident in its ability to control illegal migration, while the Labour party believes that ending the crisis entirely is challenging.

RWANDA will carry on taking illegal migrants even if Britain quits the European Court of Human Rights, The Sun can reveal. Home Secretary James Cleverly and Rwanda n Foreign Minister Vincent Biruta signed a new deal on a reworked asylum scheme in Kigali last December.
