Donnelly thanks Newington for enjoyable loan spell as he weighs up his future
Rory Donnelly has thanked Newington FC for an enjoyable spell on loan at the club as he reflected on what he called a "challenging season" personally.
"So another season has come to an end and a challenging season it was. Kind of fell out of love and the enjoyment with football, I was told I wasn't in the manager's plans at Glentoran so decisions needed to be made," Donnelly posted."I spoke to a few clubs about loan moves but one club stood out because of the manager's words to me.
What the future holds for Donnelly is still up for debate. The frontman will be a free agent once his current deal expires at The Oval at the end of the current season.
