Lin Wood, who was part of the Trump legal team that sought to overturn the results of the 2020 election, penned a letter to the State Bar of Georgia on Tuesday, requesting that his status with the bar be transferred to"Retired" effective immediately. "I understand that this request is unqualified, irrevocable and permanent," Wood wrote to the bar's general counsel and executive director."I further understand and acknowledge that if granted Retired Status I am prohibited from practicing law in this State and in any other state or jurisdiction and that I may not apply for readmission."potential disbarment
