Postdoctoral Associate- Protein Biochemistry
The successful candidate will work in a laboratory that specializes in the study of intrinsically disordered proteins, particularly those involved in stem cell biology and neurodegenerative diseases. This position is for a highly motivated, efficient scientist able to work independently and as part of a team. Performs basic molecular biology methods including cloning and site-directed mutagenesis.Purifies proteins and characterize using a variety of biophysical methods.
Detail oriented and operate with a high degree of scientific rigor.MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.Some background in molecular and cellular biologyShould be familiar with spreadsheet and data analysis/graphing software such as Microsoft Excel and Origin, and proficient with the graphics program Adobe Illustrator, or other similar programs.
