Posting on their social media accounts, Stackd said: "After three great years at 12 Abbey Street, we will unfortunately be closing our doors at the end of 2023. "But all good things come to an end. The rising costs over the three years, things doubling or quadrupling even, has eventually took its toll on our small wee family business and it's far too difficult and uncertain for us to continue.
It comes as a number of small businesses around Northern Ireland have switched to cash only due to the rising costs of card payments. NACS...Not Another Coffee Shop in Carrickfergus recently made the move in a bid to save costs during the cost of living crisis.
