Police are warning farmers to secure items after a spate of burglaries from outbuildings in Devon.A green Yamaha quad bike was stolen on 31 October in East Allington, with another quad stolen from Kingsbridge the previous night, the force said.
It added, in Hartland, between 25 and 26 October, a red Suzuki 500 quad bike and power tools were taken from a farm. Also between the 25 and 26 October, in the same area, four power and garden tools were stolen in another burglary, officers said. Police said: "Please can farms review security, make a note of all property and serial numbers, and consider additional locks, trackers on quad bikes."It appealed for witnesses to come forward.
