The Manchester United shot-stopper endured a difficult start to life in the Premier League but has looked more assured in the second half of the season
Andre Onana admits he questioned whether he'd made the right decision to move to the Premier League after a tough start to life at Manchester United, but is now '100 per cent sure' he made the right choice.
Onana's form in the second half of the season has been much improved, though the last few weeks have seen him make a couple of mistakes that have cost his side points in the race for Europa League qualification.READ MORE: Erik ten Hag has hinted at biggest Manchester United change coming this summer "When I look back now I am just smiling because it was a big lesson for me," Onana told MUTV when asked to reflect on his first season in the Premier League. "In the beginning I was like, 'Wow, did I make the right choice?' but I'm definitely 100 per cent sure I made the right choice because Manchester United is the biggest club in this country and one of the biggest clubs in the world.
"I hope I have the answer but football is not like mathematics, one plus one is two," he added. "It's not always the best players who win, there's always a lot of ups and downs, you just have to deal with the situation and we have to deal with the situation.
