The excitement of running up to a doorbell in costume quickly turns into disbelief or frustration over what is put in the pillow sack, plastic pumpkin, bag or whatever other else is used to haul candy around a neighborhood.
And no, we’re not talking about a certain type of candy you don’t like. That can always be traded out with friends at the end of the night. Nope, we’re talking about non-candy items that sometimes are given out.
