Households across the UK are set to benefit from even more savings after the April and July price cap changes, if the latter price cap does go into place as predicted.
British Gas, EDF, EON, OVO and Octopus energy customers could look forward to a promising £457 potential savings boost during this summer.
If the changes in July are as projected, households will experience a total saving of approximately £457 across the two changes, the Express reports. Naturally, those on a fixed tariff won't see any changes to their bills from July, as they are on a fixed rate. However, Martin suggests that if you're offered a fixed deal between 8 and 17 percent less than the April price cap, it's worth considering if you value price certainty.
