Latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as Steve Cooper's Reds look ahead to January window
Nottingham Forest reportedly still have their eye on Santos striker Marcos Leonardo ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Brazilian website Vamo Flamengo, Forest had the player watched earlier this week. They are said to have sent two scouts to watch Santos’ 0-0 draw with Cuiaba, where Leonardo played the full 90 minutes.READ MORE: The Danilo puzzle Cooper must solve after Forest ace makes comeback Flamengo are reportedly continuing to monitor him, having previously seen a deal for the forward collapse. Newcastle United are said to have contacted Santos about a potential January transfer, while Aston Villa and Brighton and Hove Albion have also been credited with an interest.
