Latest Nottingham Forest news as Steve Cooper's Reds held to 2-2 draw with Hatters at the City Ground
Nottingham Forest have been dealt a blow with the news winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is facing six weeks on the sidelines.
Forward Divock Origi was also ruled out of the clash with the Hatters, while Taiwo Awoniyi is currently absent with a groin problem. It meant Forest lacked back-up for starting striker Chris Wood at the City Ground.“Callum is out for six weeks. He’s pulled his hamstring,” Cooper said.“We’ve not had a great week , and certainly with attacking players. Taiwo is obviously not available either, so we didn’t really have any like-for-like attacking changes today.
The Reds were also without Gonzalo Montiel against Luton after he suffered a calf injury while on duty with Argentina. Ola Aina made his comeback from a muscle issue by coming off the bench, but Nuno Tavares, Felipe and Danilo remain absent.
