The United States Air Force will start a new training school at Maxwell Airforce Base to enhance airmen's technical skills.MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The United States Air Force announced a new warrant officer training school coming to Maxwell Airforce Base .
Beginning in October, the air base will bring its first cohort of active duty, reserve, and guard airmen for an eight-week course to enhance their technical skills. “We will work to grow them as professional warfighters,” said Senior Master Sgt. Jarvis Wilson. “We’ll work to grow them and establish them as a technical integrator, and a credible advisor.”
After the first group of officers graduate in December, Wilson said another group will begin training in mid-January, hoping to push out warrant officers who will be an asset in the country’s line of defense.
