It is a reoccurring problem in the City of Cleveland Heights. Cars crashing at the intersection of Fairmount Blvd. and Taylor Street. Most of these crashes ending up with a car in the front yard or in the home of John Gall’s home.
On Saturday and Sunday there were two crashes. Luckily, boulders that the city installed back in November of 2022, stopped the cars from crashing into Gall’s home.
In November of 2021, a car traveling 75 mph down South Taylor Street during a police chase, jumped Gall’s curb, going airborne, and smashing through the front of his house. “The last time that it happened, when he lost his garage people were saying you should sell your house, he said ‘who is going to buy it’?,” says Gabele.
