British bank NatWest is launching a new version of its chatbot that can have human-like conversations with customers, as it accelerates its adoption of artificial intelligence .
The bank has got to have confidence that the answer that's given is free of bias, free of hate... and can be done in a way that both the bank and customers can trust Mr Taylor told PA: “The bank has got to have confidence that the answer that’s given is free of bias, free of hate… and can be done in a way that both the bank and customers can trust.”
It will not stop people from going into branches or speaking to bank staff over the phone, Mr Taylor insisted.
