Peter S Fisher has died age 88 Murder, She Wrote co-creator Peter S Fischer has died at the age of 88. The celebrated TV writer created the Angela Lansbury-led series alongside fellow writers Richard Levinson and William Link. Fisher died on Monday while at a care facility in Pacific Grove, California, his family confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. His grandson, Jake McElrath, in announcing the news did not give a cause of death.
Fisher’s massive role in bringing Murder, She Wrote to life was recognised with a litany of awards throughout his lifetime, with the series receiving three Emmy nominations for outstanding drama series. The Dame Angela-led series won a litany of awards It was also nominated for six Golden Globes in the same category, winning two.
