The King's Mill Hospital worker, from Langley Mill, would 'always try to make anyone laugh'
A mother is urging people to "open up about mental health" after her daughter took her own life at the age of just 24. Amy Jade Collingwood was a beloved friend and daughter who sadly died earlier this month after suffering from mental health problems.
Louise said: "Amy never wanted to see anybody sad. If there was a homeless person on the street and she had a penny, she would give it to that person."Amy could make anybody laugh and she would always try her best to make them laugh. Unfortunately, she never thought she was good enough, but she was. She suffered with mental health and she wanted people to open up more about their sexuality because people are so frightened.
Louise also said that Amy was 'my star' and helped her by reading everything for her, as the 45-year-old has dyslexia. Following the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, Louise said: "People need to open up about mental health.
