Whiteman further admitted assaulting a woman with intent to rob her after forcing her way into the victim's home in Glen Tower, Motherwell. That incident happened on October 29, 2021. Passing sentence, Sheriff Michael Higgins told Whiteman: "No doubt these were very frightening and distressing experiences, particularly for the two children.
