Shane Blaney says their focus is on beating Livingston on Saturday
Livingston’s relegation plight isn’t Shane Blaney’s concern on Saturday, and says Motherwell have a point to prove after losing at Aberdeen last weekend.
The affable Irish defender said: “Livingston are going to be fighting for their lives, but that’s not our concern. “That won’t be easy. Livingston will be fired up and will be very good ,as every team in this league is.Blaney was disappointed to lose 1-0 to Aberdeen at the weekend, fuelled by Jack Vale’s controversial red card, and hoped his side would pull something out of the bag, as they have done often.
“We were definitely going for it, but unfortunately couldn’t get that goal like we have done so many times this season.“There have been some very good comebacks, where we’ve managed to get something on the board, whether it’s one point or three.“Every day we train, it’s always the same high standards and positivity floating about everywhere.”
