The joint project from the Hume Foundation and Glencree saw MLAs agree to five objectives
MLAs at Stormont have taken a pledge to be respectful on social media and in person. The John and Pat Hume Foundation and Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation jointly launched the new civility pledge on Tuesday at an event in the Cresent Arts Centre as part of the IMAGINE! Festival.

Dawn Purvis, Chair, the John and Pat Hume Foundation said: “The John and Pat Hume Foundation and the Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation believe that difference and respectful debate on competing ideas are essential and healthy features of public discourse in free societies.
