Computational social scientists at George Mason University have published a new paper that reveals the ideal types of Earthlings to inhabit Mars upon the red planet’s hopeful colonization some day.“The inhospitable nature of the Martian environment requires any habitat to be largely self-sustaining.”

New research highlights the type of personality needed to last on Mars, should the planet become a space outpost.“Beyond the technical and engineering challenges, future colonists will also face psychological and human behavior challenges,” the scientists noted.
