Charges have been upgraded in the shooting death of Chat Stuart.
Chad Stuart, 31, of Vineland, died this week of injuries he suffered in a shooting early Saturday in Franklin Township, Gloucester County.A man shot in the head early Saturday outside of a closed bar in Gloucester County has died of his injuries, authorities confirmed Wednesday.
After Gilliano told police that he shot Stuart, he was taken into custody and initially charged with attempted murder and other offenses. He was one of four kids, said his younger sister, Mikaela Guzman, who recalled her brother for his great sense of humor and strong work ethic. “He was a really hard worker. Everybody knew that if we asked where Chad was, he was probably either at the Lake House serving or working as an apprentice electrician.”“He always wanted to make sure that he was living his best life and making money for the future,” she said. “He was working towards his goals. He really wanted to buy a house. I think he wanted to eventually start his own electrician business.
“We’re all really, really hurt and trying to process it. I think the only thing that’s keeping us together is going through the whole investigation process and making sure that we get justice for my brother,” she said.
