The wait is over - today is GCSE results day. Good luck to everyone across Nottinghamshire receiving their GCSE results today
after a challenging few years due to the pandemic. Pupils have been eagerly waiting their results to find out what their next steps will be, with results becoming available on Thursday, August 25.
Many schools have varying times to when pupils can collect their results, but for most schools results will be available for collection from 8am. However, some students will be able to get their results online this year and avoid the nerve wracking moments of opening their envelope in front of their friends and family.
Students sat their GCSE exams in the traditional way this year, for the first time since the pandemic, making it the first real exam season that many of these pupils have ever had. GCSE results day comes after a successfulOnce students have their results, they will be able to confirm their next steps in education, whether that be sixth form, college, an Apprenticeship, A-levels or T-levels.
