A pregnant lawyer who was pushed off a cliff by her husband helped put him behind bars from beyond the grave. Fawziyah Javed and her unborn baby sadly lost their lives after Kashif Anwar attacked them at Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh.
Fawziyah, an employment lawyer from Leeds, had secretly recorded phone calls where Anwar threatened her and went to the police twice to report his abusive behaviour. She made another report just days before she was killed on a weekend trip to Edinburgh.A two-part documentary on Channel 4 confirmed a lot of evidence collected by Fawziyah led to the main part of the prosecution case, according to prosecutor Prentice.
