Kate Middleton thanked the public for their support, as she explained her absence from royal duties has been down to rounds of preventative chemotherapy.

It is considered an ‘acceptable’ environment and level of risk for the monarch King Charles will sit apart from the rest of the Royal Family at the Easter Matins service on Sunday to protect his health while he undergoes treatment for cancer. The arrangement, which has been signed off by his medical team, will see Charles, 75, and the Queen seated slightly away from other relatives in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle this weekend.
